Cleaning Operative

Hours of Duty: To be arranged, 5 days per week Monday-Friday

Holidays: By arrangements with the SOS Senior Management.  Holidays must be taken outside from the normal school term dates, i.e. during school holiday periods.

Holiday schedules will be provided by SOS Management.  Dates for your annual leave will be provided on the commencement for your employment and every September thereafter.

During the school holidays it will be your responsibility to carry out all deep cleaning duties within your core hours.  Deep Cleans will include, scrubbing and polishing, buffing, carpet cleaning, chair, wall and furniture cleaning.

The cleaning team as a whole are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the entire year.

Each cleaner will be responsible for an area and will be expected to clean to then frequency and standard set out.  At the direction of the SOS Senior Management, cleaning staff will clean other areas as required in the event of sickness/absence every employee is expecting to help cover the work ensuring no section of the premises is left incomplete. 

From time to time the Senior Staff of SOS along with a representative from the school will carry out spot checks on any aspect of Cleanliness as is appropriate.
